Question by Cheesecake: How are online courses different from school courses?
Does it show the course was taken online on your transcript?
Does university admission peeps think Online courses are easier?

I take an online course to get a year ahead in math. Colleges don’t really care where you took a course as long as you score and test well. I take a course through BYU which sends my school a transcript to keep with my records.

Personally, if you are going to do an online course make sure you get a good textbook and have some real life teacher to talk to if needed. There are times when I want to punch my computer because the course may not be clear on how to divide polynomials for example. And you can’t ask the computer to clarify, you know?
